Fort Simpson Kennels was opened in March of 2023 after receiving many requests for pet boarding services over the years. Our family has run a dog pound and provided other dog services in the community for over 25 years.

We provide boarding services for companion animals – dogs and cats. As the only kennel facility in Fort Simpson and surrounding communities, we take our role of providing the best care possible in our new and modern facility very seriously.

We understand the anxiety felt by pets and owners when they are separated, so we feel that it is important to provide personalized 1-on-1 time with the pets in our care to reduce that stress. We also provide treats and stimulating toys to make their time with us more pleasant while also having access to a secure outdoor play area which features exercise obstacles and houses to explore. We will often also send pictures and or videos of your pets so you can have peace of mind knowing they are doing well.
